Privacy notice
This explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. We've kept it short and in plain English.
Who we are
WilTec is the business that runs this site, based in Telford, UK. For data protection purposes WilTec is responsible for your information. You can contact us at [email protected].
What we collect, and why
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (if you give one) and your message. If you book a call, Calendly collects the details you enter there, such as your name, email address and the time you pick.
We use this only to reply to you, arrange and hold the call, and talk about any work that might follow. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our business, and taking steps at your request before we work together. We don't send marketing emails to people who've only contacted us, and we don't sell or share your details for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Formspree receives form submissions and passes them to our email.
- Calendly handles bookings if you choose to book a call.
- GitHub Pages hosts this website and may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP addresses.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.
These providers may process information outside the UK, mostly in the United States, under their own safeguards and privacy policies.
Cookies
This site doesn't set any cookies of its own and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. If you open the booking pop-up, Calendly may set its own cookies, covered by Calendly's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, and no longer than necessary. If we end up working together, we keep the relevant records for as long as the work and normal business needs require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. Email us and we'll deal with it promptly. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
